The buttons, icons, and tabs are what you use to navigate the Magic Online world. This page describes some of the items you'll see most often.

Buttons
Help
Help buttons are linked to information about the window or screen the button is found on.

	This small help button appears in the upper right corner of rooms.
	This large help button appears at the bottom of many windows and screens.

There is also a help button in the toolbar on the Magic Online tab.

OK and Cancel
The OK and cancel buttons are usually found together on a window or screen. In general, clicking the OK button will accept something and clicking the cancel button will decline something.

You'll use the OK button for things like accepting option changes, starting games, and submitting decks in Limited events.

You'll use the cancel button for things like canceling option changes and dropping out of events before they start.

Spreadsheet View and Graphic View
The spreadsheet view and graphic view buttons are found in the upper right corner of some windows and screens. They change the way a window or screen is shown. If a window or screen is in graphic view, you'll see the spreadsheet view button. If a window is in spreadsheet view, you'll see the graphic view button.

The spreadsheet view button changes a screen so it displays all information in a table. For screens that show card images this option is called "table view."

The graphic button changes a screen so it displays images. In rooms you'll see avatars sitting around tables playing games. For screens that show card images this option is called "card view."

Minimize and Close

Clicking the minimize button hides a window. You can restore a minimized window by clicking the window's name on the bar at the bottom of your screen.

Clicking the close button makes a window disappear. You have to reopen the window to bring it back.

Icons
Room Icons

Rooms are the screens where things happen in the Magic Online game. When you're on the Magic Online tab, you can click a room's icon to go to a different "place" where you can play games, find information, chat with other players, or go to other rooms.

Tabs
You'll see tabs along the tops of some windows and screens in Magic Online. Clicking a tab takes you to a different screen without closing the screen you were on. A tab's name is usually the same as the screen you'll see when you click the tab.

There are three tabs you'll always see when logged on to Magic Online.

The Magic Online tab is where you'll find the different rooms.

The Deck Editor tab is where you can build Constructed-format decks.

The Collection tab is where you can view and keep track of your card collection.

Some of the other tabs you'll see in Magic Online are Deck Builder, Draft, Duel, Sideboarding, and Trade.
